Job description

Responsibilities

· Coordinate and oversee the daily logistics operations, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring freight movements

· Lead and manage the team, ensuring high performance and meeting KPI and service delivery levels.

· Oversee the planning, execution and smooth running of fleet operations, ensure all operational requirements are delivered to target, including time, costs and quality.

· Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction

· Liaise with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments

· Analyse data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve overall logistics efficiency

· Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and company policies

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's overall business objectives

Requirements

· Minimum 10 years of experience in a logistics management role, preferably in the freight forwarding industry

· Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, including air, sea, and land transportation

· Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

· Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask

· Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements

· A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
