Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Processing guest check-ins and room assignments, following hotel rate structures, discounts, and upsell strategies, accommodating special requests when possible.
- Providing assistance with luggage, safety deposit boxes, additional keys, transportation, etc.
- Collecting payments in accordance with cash handling, credit card processing, and accounting policies.
- Answering inquiries about hotel services, events, directions, attractions, etc.
- Pre-registering, blocking reservations, and managing same-day and future reservations, including cancellations as per policies.
- Performing night audits and preparing necessary reports.
- Handling loyalty program inquiries, including management of “Bonvoy” memberships at various tiers.
- Maintaining punctuality, proper grooming, and uniform standards.
- Remaining professional with a positive attitude when communicating with guests and colleagues.
- Managing the Front Office team alongside the Front Office Manager, including rostering, appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned by management.
Other Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or NITEC in any field.
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in an additional language is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Skills required include familiarity with Opera, Marriott systems, hotel operations, and qualities such as diligence, trustworthiness, and articulation.
- Preferably a Junior Executive with specialization in Hotel Management or Tourism Services or equivalent.
