Assistant Freight Manager (Changi Airfreight)

Join our growing team as an Assistant Freight Manager overseeing air and sea freight operations. You’ll manage day-to-day logistics, lead a team, streamline processes, and ensure compliance across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise freight ops (air & sea) with cross-border coordination

• Ensure compliance with customs, IATA, IMDG & industry standards

• Lead and support ground team in a hands-on role

• Identify and drive process improvements

• Liaise with clients and provide regular shipment updates

• Maintain accurate documentation and billing

• Resolve operational issues swiftly and effectively

Requirements:

• Min. 7 years in freight forwarding with team leadership

• Strong knowledge of air/sea freight and customs processes

• Tradenet declarant and/or DG certified preferred

• Skilled in communication, decision-making & conflict resolution

• Comfortable with rotating shifts and occasional weekend duty (Can work from home on weekend)

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

• Comfortable to travel to Changi Airfreight Centre
