Our client is a Singaporean multinational enterprise engaged in global wholesale operations. With their ever-growing expansion, they are looking to hire a Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager

Maintenance
Maintain the general ledger system, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, and prepare journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
Accounts Reconciliation
Perform periodic account reconciliations to guarantee financial data accuracy, identify and resolve general ledger discrepancies, and maintain data integrity.
Financial Reporting
Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports, including management and statutory requirements, and provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and audit purposes
Month-End and Year-End Close
Contribute to the financial close process by preparing and reviewing closing entries and adjustments, and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported on a monthly and annual basis
Compliance: Audit and Tax
Guarantee compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and provide audit and tax support, including preparation of documentation and explanations for corporate tax, GST, and external audits
Process Improvement
Analyze and optimize financial reporting and general ledger maintenance processes, implementing improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards and policies
Collaboration
Collaborate with support teams, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and operational teams to provide accurate and timely financial information, and support business decision-making
Manage inventory cycle counts on a monthly and yearly basis, and oversee financial performance tracking and analysis, including:
Statistical reporting and analysis
Cash flow management and forecasting
Income and expense monitoring and analysis
Preparation of management and statutory reports for subsidiaries
If you are someone with the following, let’s chat!
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a plus.
Proficiency in SAP accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communicator with strong negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results
Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
