Job description

· Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions to ensure timely closing of company accounts

· Review and approve journal entries and adjustments; lead monthly account closings and prepare financial statements

· Analyze financial reports, review monthly account schedules; and manage the chart of accounts and project codes

· Conduct monthly bank reconciliations

· Review and approve GST and withholding tax submissions

· Approve debtor journals, e-invoices, debit notes, and credit notes

· Monitor accounts receivable aging reports

· Review and authorize payment transactions (Giro/TT)

· Monitor accounts payable aging reports

· Verify coding and documentation for fixed asset additions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments

Job Requirements:

· Diploma Holder in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent

· Minimum 5 years of working experience in full sets of accounting

· Proficiency in MS Excel is required

· Proficiency in AS400 JDA system is an added advantage
