Job description

Job Scope:

• Collaborate closely with Operations Shared Services departments and key stakeholders to perform cost allocations and develop effective cost recovery strategies.

• Provide end-to-end accounting support to departments and ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial matters.

• Lead a finance team in managing timely and accurate accounting processes, including reconciliation, claims reimbursement, and reporting for all funded programmes across Research, Education, Regional Health, and Talent Development.

• Oversee and support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises for all assigned departments and entities.

• Deliver clear and comprehensive financial insights to guide strategic planning and decision-making.

• Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments as directed by the Deputy Director and/or Chief Financial Officer.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with Chartered Accountant (CA) accreditation

• At least 6 years of relevant experience

• Good understanding of statutory and accounting reporting requirements, tax regulations and guidelines

• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
