Job summary

A leading company in Singapore seeks an experienced Account Manager to oversee accounts for their Singapore and Vietnam subsidiaries. This role involves financial analysis, tax planning, and managing the Account Payable function. Candidates must have an Accounting degree, CPA qualification, and a minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacturing sector.

• Must be willing to travel within Southeast Asia up to 3 times a year.

Job description

• Working days & hours: Mon - Fri (8:15am-5:15pm)

• Location: Transport pick up from Bedok MRT

• Willing Travel To Oversea

Responsibilities

• Oversees the full set of Accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries

• Review and analyse product costing reports for manufacturing plants

• Responsible for transfer price and the required documentations between Singapore and other Asia manufacturing plants

• Liaise with auditor & tax agent on subsidiary audit/tax matters and including tax planning to maximise tax savings

• Responsible for GST filing and work with external consultants for MES renewal

• Supervise the Account Payable function to ensure timely payments

• Implement improvements/enhancements in ERP systems to increase work efficiencies

Requirements

• Accounting Degree or equivalent preferred

• Qualified CPA

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience and exposure in the manufacturing industry is preferred

• Willing to travel within Southeast Asia and up to 3 times a year
