Job description

• Responsible for the accounting and reporting of departments under Operation Shared Services consisting of facilities management, environmental services, security and carpark at HQ

• Working closely with these departments and their stakeholders by providing accounting services and performing cost allocations.

• Assist in the planning and development of cost recovery strategies for these services.

• Lead and overseeing a team for timely and accurate accounting, reconciliation, claims reimbursements and reporting of all funded programmes for research, education, regional health and talent development.

• Responsible for the annual budgeting and forecasting exercises for all departments and areas.

• To undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Deputy Director and Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with Chartered Accountant (CA) accreditation

• At least 6 years of relevant experience

• Good understanding of statutory and accounting reporting requirements, tax regulations and guidelines

• Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage

• Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional and institutional relationships
