A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee financial operations. The role involves preparing consolidated financial statements, managing budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and professional certifications are preferred. With a strong background in the manufacturing or robotics sectors, the Finance Manager will supervise junior team members and support decision-making across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the group of
companies, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Perform detailed budgeting and forecasting activities; provide variance analysis
and financial insights.
• Manage and review day-to-day financial operations, including accounts
payable/receivable, fixed assets, and the general ledger.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions to ensure
timely audits and statutory compliance.
• Monitor project costs, capital expenditure, and inventory, particularly for
robotics equipment and imported components.
• Support cost control, internal control implementation, and continuous process
improvements.
• Assist in Accounting system upgrades or financial automation tools in
collaboration with IT and operational teams.
• Provide financial guidance to internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Supervise and support junior finance team members when needed.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements in line with company
policies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1–2 years in a
supervisory or assistant managerial capacity.
• Proven experience in consolidated accounts, budgeting, and audit
coordination.
• Background in manufacturing, robotics, or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, local tax laws, and accounting
standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle,
MYOB or similar systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and collaborate across
departments.
