Strong knowledge in Accounting Standards and Taxation
Supervisory Skill and Experience
Fast Learner and Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently or without supervision to meet deadlines
Five years or more work experiences in Full set accounting position; experience liaising with Auditors (preferably Big 4), IRAS, Tax Agents, Corporate Secretary, Bankers, and International Enterprise would be a plus point
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise Junior staff and oversee full spectrum of Accounts related activities: AR, AP, GL, FA, GST, Tax, and Audit
Overall in-charge of month-end closing activities: Review/Enter Accruals and Prepayment entries, reconcile all Balance Sheet figures, and perform detailed analysis on P&L
Produce monthly Financial Statement (P/L, BS, Cash Flow) within 5 workdays after month-end
Provide Financial information to Management on a timely basis for decision making
Submit Financial Package to HQ consolidation team and manage queries from HQ's auditor or consolidation team on a quarterly basis
Coordinate with all departments (Sales/Marketing, Operations, Logistics, CSC, and Finance) to produce yearly Budget Plan figures and submit to HQ consolidation team as per given timeline
Coordinate with auditors to produce annual statutory reports and prepare information for audit purposes
Coordinate with Tax agents for annual tax return
Coordinate with Bankers for any bank-related matters
Coordinate with Company Secretary for any compliance matters
Prepare quarterly GST report and monthly withholding tax where applicable for submission to the Revenue Department
Any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager and/or CFO
Skills:
Ability to prepare full set of accounting reports and Annual Financial Statement for auditor's review
Ability to solve problems within a short time; equipped with problem-solving skillset
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and good understanding of accounting software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
