An established industry player is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to ensure optimal functioning of air-conditioning systems. In this role, you will be responsible for on-site troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance, while also interacting with customers to provide exceptional service. On-Site Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in air-conditioning units to ensure optimal functioning.
Testing & Maintenance: Perform on-site testing and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues before they become critical, enhancing system reliability.
Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries via phone, email or on-site visits, ensuring clear communication and a positive service experience.
Preventive Measures: Recommend and implement preventive measures to improve system longevity and efficiency, minimizing downtime.
Service Partner Support: Provide guidance and technical support to our service partners, ensuring that all parties are aligned in delivering high-quality service.
Scheduling & Reporting: Assist the team lead in planning daily manpower schedules and ensure that job sheets, billing, and spare parts procedures are completed accurately and promptly.
Problem Resolution: Provide effective technical solutions and feedback to customers to address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proactive approach to resolving customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Strong knowledge of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently and independently.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work with internal teams and external service partners.
Adherence to all safety protocols and standards when working in varying environments.
Possess a Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Proven experience in the HVAC or air-conditioning field would be advantageous.
A valid Class 3 driving license is advantageous, as this role involves traveling to various job sites.
Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions.
Strong analytical skills with a customer-first approach.
