• Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules and processes to ensure optimum productivity and efficiency
• Hire, train, and manage production sta, including setting and monitoring performance goals
• Collaborating on new product ideas, developing recipes, conducting tests, and overseeing the transition from concept to production.
• Create and maintain inventory records, manage raw material inventory levels and minimise wastage.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards
• Identify and address production issues and area(s) for improvement
• Monitoring production costs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in production facilities
• Prepare production reports and communicate with upper management regarding production goals and results

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food production management
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control procedures
• Familiar with food safety and hygiene regulations
