What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of service delivery
Monitor and analyse building performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation and cost savings
Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to prolong the life of building assets
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to address facility-related issues and concerns
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to facility management activities
Contribute to the continuous improvement of facility management processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Minimum 8 years of experience in a facilities management or building operations role
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
Proficient in project management, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks effectively
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering practical, cost-effective solutions
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and colleagues at all levels
Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and best practices in the industry
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, facilities management, or building services
