An established industry player is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of building facilities. This role involves supervising a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing service contracts. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in a relevant engineering discipline and 2-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance. Assist in the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of building facilities including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Supervise and coordinate in-house technicians and external contractors to ensure timely and quality execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify defects, inefficiencies, or safety hazards, and follow up on rectifications.
Respond to facility-related emergencies and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Monitor and maintain building management systems (BMS), energy usage, and ensure optimal performance of all critical systems.
Maintain up-to-date maintenance records, asset inventories, and compliance reports.
Support facility upgrade projects, renovations, and fit-out works, including coordination and site supervision.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
Assist in budgeting, procurement of spares, and managing service contracts for facility systems.
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or building operations.
Familiar with M&E systems, BMS, and building statutory requirements.
Hands-on and able to lead a team of technicians.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
