Job description

Overall Job Purpose

Being part of the team responsible for Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC)’s procurement function, the job holder will undertake work to provide administrative support to the Procurement team for effective procurement administration.

Key Responsibilities

The job holder will have the opportunity to take on a combination of the different areas of work as follows:

  • Provide admin support to the Procurement team in conducting end-to-end tendering processes from preparation to award of tender, ensuring accuracy and consistency with organizational policies and processes;

  • Undertake the administrative function of processing GeBIZ-related tender activities and procedures;

  • Liaise with business divisions in keeping track of pre- and post-award tender activities and documentation as well as of contract expiry; manage non-complex communications with suppliers on tender-related matters etc;

  • Maintain and update central registers for procurement data;

  • Generate automated procurement data analytics dashboards for management reports and perform data extraction to support audit reviews;

  • Handle procurement operations document administration according to organizational knowledge management policies and procedures;

  • Support automation of manual administrative work processes and procurement process improvements

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement administration;

  • Background in Government Procurement and undertaking of administrative duties using GeBIZ or any data analytics tools will be an advantage;

  • Organised and meticulous with ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively;

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Able to work independently, and within teams;

  • Resourceful and committed individual
