Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a diploma-qualified AEM to support operations at Tuas Marine Transfer Station and Semakau Landfill in Singapore. The role involves assisting the engineer to oversee safe waste receiving operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will coordinate with TMTS/SL stakeholders, supervise contractors, review traffic management plans, prepare quotations for maintenance, and be deployed across both locations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any discipline
• Fresh diploma graduates welcome; candidates with at least 3 years of working experience preferred
• Procurement experience and contract management experience preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and in harsh environments; willingness to be deployed at TMTS and SL; ability to work shifts including weekends

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure safe waste receiving operations at TMTS and SL slipways
• Coordinate operational and safety matters with TMTS/SL stakeholders to ensure compliant operations
• Supervise contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to schedule
• Review traffic management plans within TMTS/SL
• Prepare and call quotations for maintenance of buildings and facility infrastructure; ensure spare parts supply
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
