Assistant Engineering Manager (ACMV)

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct installation, testing and commissioning of equipment and repair of facilities and equipment
• Plan and direct daily maintenance schedule to technicians
• Coordinate and direct projects, making detail plan and direct technical activities
• Coordinating members of group to work together to accomplish tasks
• Analyze resource required, plan and assess feasibility of projects
• Draft outlines for quotations and invoices
• Making decisions about the purchase of material and services
• Develop and implement Health and Safety Policies, standard operating procedures for the technical work performed at job site
• Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
• Assign, direct and evaluate technicians performance
• Oversee technicians development and maintenance of their competence
• Check technical accuracy of work
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients
• Confer with high levels of technical management requirements
• Analyze market demand available resource for operations
• Review of Risk Assessment
• Handling complaints from customers

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma holder or equivalent for BCA requirements if possible (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering)
• Possess Class 3 driving licence
• At least 8 years of air con related experience
• Experience in ACMV project will be preferred
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English to liaise with Mandarin Speaking associate
