Mun Siong Engineering Limited is seeking an experienced engineer to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across E&I, mechanical, civil, and process disciplines. You will support execution planning and ensure every activity aligns with project objectives and client requirements.
You will review designs, drive technical coordination, and resolve issues to maintain quality and regulatory compliance on EPC or industrial projects. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.
Assist the Engineering Manager in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Coordinate daily engineering activities across disciplines (E&I, Mechanical, Civil, Process).
Support implementation of engineering execution plans and strategies.
Ensure engineering work aligns with project objectives and client requirements.
Review engineering deliverables including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
Support integration between disciplines to ensure design consistency.
Assist in resolving technical issues and design conflicts.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
Coordinate engineering input for procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Support engineering planning and workload distribution.
Assist in managing engineering interfaces with project teams.
Support review and verification of engineering designs and documentation.
Ensure engineering outputs meet required quality standards.
Participate in technical reviews and design verification activities.
Assist in identifying and correcting engineering errors or deviations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors on technical matters.
Participate in project coordination meetings and design discussions.
Support communication of engineering requirements and changes.
Assist in resolving technical queries from site and construction teams.
Provide engineering input for procurement specifications and technical evaluations.
Support vendor document review and technical clarifications.
Assist construction teams with engineering support and site issue resolution.
Ensure engineering responsiveness to site requirements and deviations.
Ensure engineering designs consider HSE requirements and regulations.
Support integration of safety standards into engineering deliverables.
Participate in risk assessments and technical safety reviews.
Promote safe engineering practices across all project activities.
Assist in preparing engineering progress reports and updates.
Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
Support preparation of as-built drawings and project close-out documents.
Ensure proper record keeping of engineering activities.
Assist in supervising and guiding engineers and junior staff.
Support training and development of engineering personnel.
Help in resource planning and workload distribution.
Contribute to performance monitoring and improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
PMP or project management certifications are an advantage.
Professional engineering certification is a plus.
Discipline-specific technical certifications are preferred.
Minimum 7–12 years of engineering experience in EPC or industrial projects.
At least 2–5 years in a senior or supervisory engineering role.
Strong experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or infrastructure projects.
Exposure to multi-disciplinary engineering coordination.
