Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Assistant Engineer (Technical) to support various water treatment operations including RO systems, cooling and boiler water systems, and wastewater treatment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting membrane autopsies, chemical site trials, troubleshooting analyzers and dosing systems, and performing field support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct RO membrane autopsies and prepare detailed analysis reports.
Assist in RO membrane chemical cleaning and performance restoration.
Execute chemical program site trials, perform water analysis, monitor results, and support performance evaluations.
Troubleshoot issues in cooling water, boiler water, and wastewater analyzers.
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of water treatment systems and components.
Operate pilot cooling tower systems for testing and optimization purposes.
Conduct jar tests to troubleshoot and optimize water treatment chemical programs.
Support senior engineers in data collection, site investigations, and performance audits.
Work closely with sales, production, and quality control teams to ensure client requirements are met.
Assist in the development of customized water treatment programs based on site needs.
Participate in client meetings to provide technical insights and recommendations.
Identify and suggest opportunities to improve products, services, and internal processes.
Maintain accurate service records, chemical usage logs, and troubleshooting reports.
Adhere to all safety protocols, company procedures, and regulatory standards during site activities.
Requirements:
Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are welcome; prior internship or experience in water treatment is an advantage.
Strong interest in hands-on field work and troubleshooting.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Willing to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments.
