A leading company in Singapore is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to assist with contract deliverables. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on RF communication systems, collaborating with vendors, and recommending technical solutions. Candidates should possess a diploma in relevant engineering disciplines and ideally have knowledge of data analytics.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Some knowledge in Data Analytics preferred.
• Experience in System-Level Maintenance is advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager to deliver contract deliverables within budget.
• Able to operate and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To perform routine Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.
• To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.
• Liaison with procurement and vendors.
• Perform after-office hour standby for fault activation.
• Arrange and attend monthly meetings with customers.
• Provide engineering services and support to facilitate equipment adequacy, obsolescence, configuration and design.
• Provide or recommend technical solutions to mitigate RF communication systems/equipment failures.
• Frequent travelling and working at customer premise(s).
• Occasional backfill for Integrated Work Force (IWF) at customer premise(s).

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with some knowledge in Data Analytics (e.g. failure trending/patterns).
• Preferably with experience in System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines: (Radio Communications, basic networking skills, computer/servers, embedded systems and/or UPS). Other Engineering-related experience maybe considered.
• Preferably with Class 3 Driving License.
