Job summary

ST Engineering seeks a Quality professional to evaluate engineering requirements for marine projects, review drawings, and resolve on-site issues with OEMs, classes, or owners. You will monitor quality against the schedule and ensure compliance with standards.

You'll participate in the safety work plan, conduct regulatory-compliant activities, and may attend VSCC meetings as needed. Location is Benoi Road, Singapore with island-wide transport provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Marine engineering is required.
• 4–5 years in marine industry or refinery piping preferred.
• Knowledge of Classification requirements and shipbuilding standards.
• Ability to interpret piping system drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical/engineering requirements of jobs and review drawings.
• Resolve technical problems with OEM/class/owner on site.
• Monitor and ensure quality work is produced to target schedule.
• Participate in department safety work plan and regulatory activities.
• Attend VSCC meetings if necessary.

• Knowledge of Shipboard Piping Systems Design.


• Knowledge of piping systems, control system and their classification requirements.


• Able to interpret technical piping system drawings and specification.
