Job description

Job Description:

  1. Prepare installation cable route drawing for submission and implementation for the following subsystems:
    • Integrated Communications System (COMMS)
    • Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS)
    • Facility for Commercial Info-Communication Services (FCIS)
    • Maintenance Management System (MMS)
    • Signalling System (SIG)
    • Platform Screen Doors (PSD)
    • Automated Fair Collection System (AFC)
  2. Carry out installation design and supervision of site installation works to meet authorities & customer’s requirements.
  3. Coordinate with Civil Wide Contractors and System Wide Contractors.
  4. Supervise a team of installation sub-contractors in carrying out cable support system installation, cable laying & testing, equipment installation & termination, progress reporting, and updating as-built drawings.
  5. Manage & control work progress to ensure installation works are completed within schedule, meet budget, meet quality standards, and comply with MOM safety regulations.
  6. Daily manpower reporting and attendance at weekly/bi-weekly progress meetings with LTA.
  7. Conduct site inspections and handover inspections with clients.

Job Requirement:

  1. Minimum Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 1-5 years’ experience in leading a team of site engineers and sub-contractors’ skilled workers in executing large-scale electronics, electrical & mechanical installations.
  3. Work experience in large scale projects is preferred.
  4. Willing and able to work at night for brownfield projects.
  5. Installation experience in the railway industry is preferred.
  6. Use of AutoCAD or BIM would be an advantage.
  7. Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
  8. Good communication skills, able to interact with people of all levels and work in a team.
