About the Role
- Manage and lead the team to carry out planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs as instructed by the Manager.
- Provide support for events held in these facilities.
- Plan and effectively carry out scheduled facilities planned maintenance with 100% completion.
- Conduct site verification and prepare related scope of work for in-house/external vendors for recommendation and quotation.
- Work with the project main contractor to address builder’s defects related to the building and MEP systems.
- Handle administrative operations for PR/PO for vendors to carry out necessary rectification work.
- Ensure and follow up on all statutory certification/license renewals for all related MEP systems.
- Ensure all MEP plant room systems are operational at all times.
- Coordinate and liaise with Venue Operations for all MEP system PM work schedules.
- Collect and evaluate all reactive cases assigned by the Manager and carry out necessary rectification or temporary repairs within stipulated time.
- Assist the Manager in following up on outstanding issues and cases.
- Be on 24/7 standby for urgent issues.
- Respond promptly and brief the team; in case of emergencies, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols.
- Work independently without supervision from the Manager.
- Actively lead the team in the absence of the Manager.
- Verify and analyze trends of all related MEP systems for energy and water efficiency.
- Ensure all MEP equipment and event-related systems are 100% operationally ready.
- Assist the Manager in coordinating all events or issues assigned.
- Monitor and control expenditures within the allocated budget in coordination with the Manager.
- Acquire knowledge of Microsoft Office to prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports and documents.
- Ensure the team adheres to all workplace safety requirements.
- Lead and train the team on all site MEP systems.
About You:
- NITEC in Engineering or Facilities Management.
- Prior relevant work experience is preferred.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work under minimal supervision, perform under pressure, and be proactive.
