Job Objectives

1. To assist the Engineer in area maintenance, repairs, and installations, and to support documentation for the Engineer and the client.

Duties/Functions/Responsibilities

• Perform 24x7 operational health checks, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repairs following Data Centre best practices.
• Supervise and escort contractors to ensure installation and maintenance work adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Ensure the customer’s premises are tidy and all equipment is operational before leaving.
• Follow and adhere to the customer’s facilities’ rules and regulations.
• Observe operational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Propose and recommend improvements or replacements of aged equipment in the Data Centre.
• Maintain good relations with customers by providing technical and facilities support.
• Participate in promoting team cohesiveness.
• Prepare and update maintenance schedules for customers and vendors.
• Promote and uphold the company's professional image in Data Centre maintenance and management.
• Ensure vendors arrive on time for scheduled maintenance.
• Assist in vetting vendor permits to work (PTW), Method of Statement (MOS), and Risk Assessments (RA), and submit for safety department and client approval.
• Prepare monthly duty rosters for in-house shift technicians.
