A leading company in the engineering sector is seeking a maintenance technician to lead a team and ensure effective preventive maintenance processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and possess strong troubleshooting and safety compliance skills. This role involves scheduling, resource management, and implementing safety improvements within the workplace.
To carry out corrective and preventive maintenance as per plan
Lead a team of technicians to troubleshoot & resolve equipment breakdown and identify the root cause to prevent recurrence
Scheduling of manpower resources to carry out various maintenance activities to meet KPI targets
Ensuring the in-stock parts quantity are sufficient and kept to ideal levels by monitoring spare parts consumption and replenishing stocks by raising purchase requisitions
Sustaining and improving safety in the work area by ensuring the workplace and practices complies with safety requirements, while identifying and implementing safety improvements
Propose, implement and/or support improvement projects such as 5S activities, installation of machines, machine shifting, overhauling or upgrading works.
Liase and coordinate with vendors and contractors

Job Requirements
Minimum N level , Nitec or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in engineering or maintenance field.
Willing to learn, safety conscious.
