Job summary

Merries Executive Search on behalf of our client seeks an assistant engineer to prepare and maintain CCTV coverage designs, drawings and reports in Singapore. You will work under a designated project supervisor to ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities include site execution, CAD-based drawings, maintaining camera and event lists in Excel, and generating FOV reports while aligning with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent ITE qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant CCTV coverage design experience.
• Proficient in CAD for coverage drawings and Excel for lists.

Responsibilities

• Execute site execution and documentation to meet CCTV design schedules and resolve issues.
• Coordinate site information and inputs with the VSS team; report progress per format and follow safety requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate CCTV coverage documentation and related design tasks within scope.

Our client is looking for an assistant engineer to prepare and maintain CCTV coverage designs, drawings and reports.

Keep camera and event records accurate and complete assigned design documentation to the agreed schedule.

Reporting line: Designated project supervisor.

Responsibilities

Site Execution and Documentation

• Work independently and with the project team to meet CCTV design schedules. Resolve design issues proactively and escape unresolved issues.
• Coordinate site information and camera coverage inputs with the VSS team. Report progress in the prescribed format and follow site safety requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate CCTV coverage documentation and complete other related design duties within the assigned scope.

CCTV Coverage Design

• Prepare and update CCTV coverage drawings using CAD.
• Maintain camera lists and event lists in Excel, keeping them aligned with the latest coverage drawings.
• Generate Field of View(FOV) reports and update single-line diagrams, cable routes, coverage drawings and termination lists.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics or an equivalent ITE qualification relevant to the role.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience and working knowledge in CCTV coverage design.
• Able to prepare CCTV coverage drawings using CAD and maintain camera and event lists using Excel.
• Working knowledge of camera coverage, Field of View (FOV) reporting and technical drawing updates.
• Able to understand and communicate in English to follow technical procedures, coordinate work and report progress.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and follow design and documentation requirements.
