Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Woodleigh, Singapore seeks a field meter technician to collect daily job notifications, perform site surveys, and record readings with photographs as required.

You will supervise contracted work, ensure safety procedures, and liaise with officers. Fresh graduates with a Diploma in Engineering and own vehicle are welcome to apply. No prior meter experience is required; training will be provided on site.

Responsibilities

• Collect daily job notifications from officers at the start of each work day.
• Carry out site surveys at customer premises in advance of meter fixing/removal/replacement works to assess site conditions.
• Site survey before meter works, including supervision of term contractor’s work.
• Check and record initial readings on new meters and final readings on old meters, including photographs.
• Take records of works in progress/completed, ensure procedures and safety measures are followed, report incidents promptly, maintain contact with officers.
• Carry out site visits to check meter condition, interview customers to establish facts, and take additional readings on site for analysis.

Job Description:

Collect daily job notifications from the officers at the start of each work day.

Carry out site survey at customer’s premises in advance of actual meter fixing/removal/replacement works to assess site conditions (for example, no obstruction to meters, valves on water mains are as per plans).

Site survey before meter fixing/removal/replacement job, supervision of term contractor’s work

Check and record initial readings on new meters and final readings on old meters, including photographic records

Service Includes taking records of works in progress/completed, ensuring work procedures and safety measures are carried out as specified, reporting any incident promptly, maintaining close contact with officers, managing and tracking the movement of meters including related fittings, supervision of metering works as directed and in accordance with daily check sheets.

Carrying out site visit to check on the meter condition, interviewing customers to establish the facts, taking additional meter readings on site for analysis.
