Job summary
A leading technology firm in Singapore is looking for a Technical Manager to oversee engineering operations. The role involves managing procurement, supervising technical teams, and providing exceptional customer service in line with industry standards. Candidates must have a relevant diploma or degree in engineering and proven experience with M&E infrastructures. Additional certifications, especially in UPS systems, are beneficial.
Qualifications
- Min 2-5 years relevant working experience in technical roles.
- Certification or training in UPS or Aircon brand installation required.
- Class 3 Driving Licence preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist Technical Manager with procurement and budget adherence.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Technical Manager negotiate/procure materials, equipment and labor in accordance to the allocated budget
- Coordinate and supervise Technical Team’s day-today technical operations (i.e., routine servicing, maintenance & T&C processes)
- Ensure technical operations are carried out according to required standards
- Troubleshoots non-performing and or faulty electrical/ACMV/ fire protection system/ UPS/Security System
- Provide excellent service and build lasting relationship with clients
- Assist in handling/storage of materials and equipment
- Ensure safety practices are followed
- Review and implement MOS & RA docs
- Ensure work completed are of highest standards
- Able to troubleshoot and carry out repair work for M&E Infrastructures services in Data Center
- Attend to technical inquiries and provide technical support for customers
- Liaise with relevant authorities/ subcontractor/clients/suppliers on maintenance, repair & T&C job
- Maintain internal and external technical and operational documentation
- To support and standby for emergency cases
Requirements:
- ITE/Diploma in Engineering related field
- Min 2-5 years of relevant working experience
- AutoCAD knowledge, Certification of PMI an advantage
- Certification or trained in installation of 1 or more leading UPS or Aircon brand is a must
- Class 3 Driving Licence is preferred
- Trained in Thermal Scanning of UPS or Electrical Boards an advantage
- Good problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Pro-active and able to work independently and unsupervised at times
- Good communication and organizational skills
