Assistant Electrical Engineer - Ship Repairs (Gul)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the base manager in maintaining and achieving the KPIs for the availability of the boats at client's base
2. Perform pre and post operations inspections of boats in bases
3. Carry out replacements of machineries and electrical circuitries
4. Responsible for the well-being of the team during working hours including attendance, discipline, productivity, work quality, and safety
5. Plan and coordinate with fellow colleagues on work to be performed
6. Brief and deploy the team effectively through detail task planning and supervision on-site
7. Timely update of man-hours into SAP system
8. Prepare reports for work done
9. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors when required
10. Coordinate with Owner Rep on issues pertaining to maintenance task

Requirements:

1. Diploma or NTC in Electrical Engineering or related
2. Possess knowledge in Mechanical, Engines and Electrical principles
3. Able to use hand tools and measurement tools to perform repairs and maintenance works onboard vessels
4. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
5. Proficient in MS Office for purpose of report writing and progress report updates

1. Official Work Hours: 7.25am - 5pm
2. 5 Days Week
3. Work location: Gul Base (9 Pioneer Place), occasionally in Brani Base and Benoi Yard when required
4. Taxi Transport claimable for early reporting of work at Gul
