Job summary

A leading company in facilities management is seeking a professional to manage dormitory operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and build resident relations. Candidates should have relevant certifications and at least 2 years of experience in facilities or people management to support efficient operations and cost management.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in facilities management or people management.
  • Preferably with some security training or certificates.
  • Experience in soft and hard facility services.

Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring that the Dormitory complies with FEDA and industry regulations.
  • Fluent in FEDA requirements and able to converse well.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for tenant check-in/out and access passes.
  • Responsible to provide guidance on the preferred communication method to resolve operational, event and dormitory regulatory issues at dormitory.
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth implementation of duty roster and manning plan for operations of the dormitory and facility to ensure services meet the expectations.
  • To ensure that defects reported by clients are promptly rectified and to levy appropriate charges if the management is not liable for such defects.
  • To ensure compliance of all requirement of dormitory licensing and liaise with government authorities on any issue that may arise from time to time.
  • To foster and maintain a close rapport with residents so as to gain their trust and confidence in the services rendered by the dormitory.
  • To ensure that resources are used efficiently and to undertake cost-cutting measures to keep operating costs at acceptable levels.
  • Experience in soft and hard facility services

Requirements

  • Preferably Certificate in Facilities or Property Management or N-Levels min.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Preferably some experience on plant operations.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in facilities management or people management.
  • Preferably with some security training or certificates.
