ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC PLANNING
FAMILY JUSTICE COURTS (2-year contract)
What you will be working on:
You will develop, evaluate, review, and refine key programmes as identified by Senior Management and work with Divisions to strengthen Family Justice Courts’ business processes and systems. You will also serve as Secretariat for Senior Management meetings between Family Justice Courts (FJC) and other key agencies, and support Senior Management with the execution and roll-out of key strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse global developments in family justice to identify trends and best practices that could benefit FJC;
- Champion digital transformation initiatives and stay current with service design innovations;
- Work closely with business divisions to develop strategic recommendations and present them to Senior Management;
- Spearhead business process re-engineering initiatives across divisions to optimise operational efficiency and user experience;
- Work with the IT division on the development of technology-enabled programmes to strengthen organisational capabilities;
- Plan and coordinate senior leadership retreats focused on strategic planning and innovation;
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for management meetings, including preparation of briefing materials and maintenance of decision records;
- Support any other strategic and operational initiatives as required.
What we are looking for:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience; knowledge of family law and social issues is advantageous;
• Outstanding presentation and writing abilities;
• Strong analytical capabilities with strategic and innovative mindset;
• Expertise in service design and digital innovation trends;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, etc.);
• Self-motivated with proven ability to excel under pressure;
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional team collaboration;
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality;
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels;
• Confident facilitator capable of driving meaningful discussions and problem-solving.
