What You Will Be Working On
- Map out and conduct engagements with stakeholder groups, opinion and community leaders
- Analyse and understand sentiments and concerns within the community, to co-create community initiatives and improve communications to strengthen social cohesion
- Work across agencies and Government to raise awareness of potential social fault lines, and formulate policies and programmes to effectively address them
Work Experience
What we are looking for
- Essential -
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in team leadership, with focus on programme planning, stakeholder engagement or public communications
- Additional advantages -
- Prior management experience at junior to middle management positions
- Background in community grant management and assessment
- Strong track record of senior stakeholder engagement
Competency Requirements
- Clear and Concise Writing
- Express main ideas clearly and concisely in writing.
- Confident in preparing and staffing policy recommendations to senior leadership
- Design for Implementation and Communication
- Formulate policies that integrate strategic communications and Government-community partnership considerations from inception, ensuring effective and sustained public engagement
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Strategically identify, analyse, and prioritise stakeholders across diverse domains, developing targeted engagement approaches.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with varied stakeholders, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and aligning partnerships with policy and organisational goals.
- Data-driven Policy Analysis
- Utilises data analytics to review existing policies, programmes, and initiatives, assessing their effectiveness and impact
- Develops evidence-based recommendations for new or improved community engagement and stakeholder partnership strategies

- Strong organisational and coordination skills with ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work effectively both independently and in teams
