What you will be working on

The candidate will support the Transformation Lead in implementing the Budget System and initiatives across Finance, HR, and other backroom operations to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and adopt innovative solutions. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, process reengineering, and leveraging emerging technologies.

A) Budget System Implementation

• Assist in implementing the Budget Planning and Management System (iBPMS)
• Coordinate with the Vendor to ensure project quality and mitigate risks
• Engage with the Finance Budget Team for requirements and design decisions
• Review vendor documents before final review by the Finance Budget Team
• Coordinate with MOT IT Section for infrastructure support
• Ensure system alignment with policy changes
• Advise on process transformation where applicable
• Engage LTA on system integration and contractual matters
• Guide the Finance Budget Team in User Acceptance Testing
• Lead Data Migration, Change Management, and Training activities

B) Transformation Projects (e.g., RPA, Dashboards)

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing transformation initiatives
• Engage stakeholders to understand processes and requirements
• Document process flows, SOPs, and training materials
• Evaluate emerging tools and technologies like GenAI
• Collaborate with IT to ensure technological alignment
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues
• Communicate effectively across management and staff

• IT / Accounting or equivalent qualification (advantageous)
• Knowledge of Government budgeting (advantageous)
• Strong leadership and proven system delivery track record
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team
