Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore, is seeking a senior professional to coordinate the National Platforms under the Medtech Sector. The role involves building networks with academia, clinical partners, and public sector agencies to drive projects and events.

Applicants should have MSc/PhD in engineering or related fields and 10+ years in medical device/Health IT, with proven project management and front-facing engagement experience.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in engineering, life sciences, biomedical engineering or a related technical field is required.
• More than 10 years of working experience in medical device/Health IT, R&D, or life science management consulting is required.
• Strong project/programme management experience is essential.
• Experience in front-facing engagements with vendors, key accounts, and stakeholders.
• Experience in organizing events and activities involving external stakeholders (>100 attendees).
• Excellent networking, communication, presentation and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the National Platforms under the Medtech Sector.
• Develop relationships with academic research, clinical community, and public sector research planning and economic agencies in Singapore.
• Support the organization of Medtech Sector activities and events.
• Assist space planning and campus refresh for the Medtech Sector.
• Support project and outcomes tracking.
• Assist other operational activities of the Programme Office.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordination of the National Platforms under the Medtech Sector

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or other technical experience in a related medical technology field.


• >10 years of working experience in either medical device/Health IT industry, R&D, strategic/corporate planning, life science management consulting or any other relevant roles


• Project and/or programme management experience is required


• Experience in front-facing engagements dealing with vendors, key accounts, stakeholders


• Experience in organizing events and activities involving external stakeholders at a scale of >100 attendees


• Possess excellent networking, communication, presentation and writing skills.


• Demonstrate ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
