Job description
What the role is

The Human Resource Team in MND works closely with its Family of Statutory Boards (of close to 10,000 in staff strength) to support MND Family-wide objectives and strategic priorities through a range of HR initiatives, across several spectrums of HR, such as talent management, key learning focus areas, and other HR policies. Within MND, it supports the manpower needs of the organisation, as well as the growth and development of officers.

What you will be working on

As Manager/Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director, Human Resource Business Partnerships, you will be exposed to different aspects of HR as a Business Partner, and working closely with MND’s divisions to meet their manpower needs. In addition, you will be required to work closely with our divisions and Statutory Boards to review and propose HR strategies to meet the future needs of our workforce; to ensure that our people policies, culture and working practices continue to enable high performance and organisational capability. You can also expect to drive HR transformation efforts to streamline work processes, primarily through digitalisation and automation where applicable.

  • Preferably candidates with at least 2 – 4 years of relevant experience
  • Able to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills to engage different stakeholders, including central agencies
  • A strong command of English, both written and spoken
  • Meticulous with a strong analytical and problem-solving mind
  • Strong project management and critical thinking capabilities
  • Able to work under pressure and short timelines
  • Knowledge of common productivity tools which can aid digitalisation efforts
