What the role is:
About Community Chest
As the hallmark of care and share, Community Chest has been uniting the community to mobilise resources and raise funds to serve those in need since 1983. Community Chest supports more than 200 programmes to meet underserved and critical social needs. As our fundraising and operating costs are covered mainly by Tote Board, 100% of donations goes towards empowering the lives of adults with disabilities, children with special needs and youth-at-risk, persons with mental health conditions, and families and seniors in need of support.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our Philanthropic Partnerships team.
You will contribute to Community Chest’s philanthropic goals by building strong partnerships with existing and prospective Corporate partners from the Private sector to mobilise donations and resources for the social service sector.

You excel under pressure, adeptly resolve conflicts, and focus on building sustainable, long-term partnerships.
What you will be working on:
- Drive fundraising outcomes across various donation platforms - including outright donations, the SHARE programme, and signature events - for assigned industry segments.
- Strengthen existing donor relationships through strategic and consistent stewardship efforts.
- Identify and engage prospective donors by developing and executing strategic outreach plans.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to achieve philanthropic outcomes.
- Deliver presentations that effectively convey the impact of philanthropic support and partnership to donors.
- Analyze trends and past performance to improve donor engagement and giving
- Manage a portfolio of high value donors and prospects with a relationship building approach
- Represent the organization at events and networking opportunities

Skills Required:
Minimum 8 years' relevant experience
Strong track record in fundraising or business development
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office
Understanding of social service sector
Self motivated and ability to work independently
High level strategic thinking with hands- on execution
Experience & Special Certification(s):
