Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Director for the Office of Research to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and collaboration functions. This role involves supervising the IACUC secretariat function, as well as facilitating and formulating multi-institutional and strategic collaborations. Additionally, you will support and coordinate the alignment of the Group Research strategy with the development of the national research agenda and develop corresponding action plans.

Job Requirements:
  • Post graduate degree or Master’s in Science with at least 12 years of relevant working experience, including 4 years of managerial experience.
  • Prior working experience as a researcher or in a clinical/ translational research environment would be advantageous.
  • Good team player with strong communication and decision making skills.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
