To continue the legacy of Goodwood Park, we are looking for dynamic and committed candidates to join our Sales Department.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:-

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provides overall support in the daily operations of the sales department.
  • Identify, develop and evaluate the annual business plan by analysing business trends, marketing opportunities and client’s feedback to drive revenue to meet the Hotel’s financial objectives.
  • Develop long-term and short-term sales targets, as well as promotional strategies to drive results by establishing new accounts and managing key accounts.
  • Ensure sales call plan is effectively implemented and results of these calls are reported in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast with global and local marketing and catering industry trends and action plans to incorporate these trends into the business.
  • Conduct site inspections and guide potential clients to the benefits of the hotel.
  • Prospect and expand the client base and solicit new business through strategic identification of market segments and focused action plans. Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for the Hotel.
  • Participate in tradeshows, travel functions and other major business events to network and create business opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the sales team members and ensure that the team is continually motivated to meet revenue targets.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Prepares sales report for review.
  • Manage relationships and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure plans/activities are implemented and well executed.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities in the hospitality sector.
  • Analyse and review competitors’ sales/ promotion efforts.
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong contacts within the hospitality, tourism and corporate sectors.
  • Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Upholding the Hotel’s 5-star brand & image so as to deliver a consistent 5-star experience.
  • An excellent team player who is able to work under pressure and possess high level of integrity and respect for others.
  • Able to commence work within short notice would be advantageous.
