  • Achieve the overall Positioning Objectives of the Hotel, contributing to the attainment of revenue goals and profitability obligations to our owner through effective management of the entire Marketing Communications function.
  • Develop a Communications Plan within the context of the Business Plan to meet these objectives.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Communications to establish communication priorities for the hotel.
  • Ensure effective communication and execution of the Communications Plan by scheduling mailings, press releases, advisories, promotions, and newsworthy events to media contacts.
  • Position the Hotel favorably in local and international print and broadcast media from a communications perspective.
  • Collaborate with advertising and public relations agencies to develop media strategies and communication plans for various markets, including Singapore.
  • Manage relationships with agencies to extend the Hotel’s Marketing Communications efforts effectively.
  • Oversee the Hotel’s marketing and client communications programs, including public relations, media relations, copywriting, graphic design, collateral materials, direct mail, and website content.
  • Maintain an updated database of media contacts in Singapore, Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific.
  • Invite media and partners to experience the Hotel’s offerings, attend events, and CSR activities to foster top-of-mind awareness locally and internationally.
  • Conduct site inspections and hosted events, following up with post-visit communications.
  • Maintain and update the Corporate Identity Manual and hotel images’ library.
  • Work with design companies to produce collateral such as press kits, sales kits, fact sheets, brochures, rate tariffs, and digital directories.
  • Coordinate printing and vendor relationships related to marketing and events.
  • Supervise the graphic design team, coordinating with external designers and agencies.
  • Supervise the Assistant Marketing Communications Manager to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Create a motivating and productive environment for the team, fostering professional development.
  • Monitor daily activities ensuring compliance with performance standards.
  • Implement digital media strategies to build online communities and advocates on social platforms.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or college degree in Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields; minimum six years’ experience in PR, marketing, or professional services marketing; or equivalent experience with five years managerial experience.
  • Proven experience working with PR agencies and managing successful PR campaigns.
