Job description

What the role is:

Internal Audit Department (IAD) is an independent and objective assurance function that evaluates the effectiveness of SSG’s governance, risk management, and internal controls. IAD projects and performs internal audits to ensure the safeguarding of assets, effective resource deployment, reliable records, compliance with policies and laws, and achievement of operational objectives. IAD also manages the whistleblowing hotline and other compliance activities.

What you will be working on:

Internal Audit Strategy

  • Lead the Internal Audit Unit within the Internal Audit & Risk Advisory Division.
  • Develop understanding of the organisation’s management to assist in audit planning.

Internal Audit Management and Delivery

  • Conduct audits, recommend improvements, and prepare reports.
  • Manage outsourced projects to ensure timely and quality work.

Governance and Risk Management

  • Provide control advisory to promote good practices.
  • Manage whistleblowing cases and direct investigations.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as directed.

Others

  • Serve as Secretariat to the Audit & Risk Committee.
