Job description

As a senior member of the communications team, you will manage SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre's reputation through media relations and crisis management.

Leading the media relations team, you will drive initiatives that strengthen SingHealth's position as a trusted healthcare leader and academic medical centre. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic counsel to senior leadership, managing crisis communications, and developing integrated communication plans across multiple platforms, including international media. You will spearhead communications initiatives in key areas such as research, innovation, technology, and campus development, whilst supporting various stakeholders across the organisation in achieving their communications objectives.

Additionally, you will develop team members' capabilities and manage workplans, key performance indicators (KPIs) and budgets.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years' relevant experience and strong track record in media relations, reputation and issues management in both traditional and social media

• Excellent command of both spoken and written English; proficiency in a second language is an advantage

• Proven track record in management of integrated communications projects

• Conversant with traditional communications tools and platforms; good grasp of new digital communication platforms is an advantage

• Keen news sense, established media network, and sound knowledge of current affairs

• Strong leadership skills and excellent stakeholder management abilities

• Creative, resourceful and resilient, with excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
