Job summary

IPOS International in Singapore seeks an Assistant Director, International Business Partnership to drive strategic engagements and expand Singapore’s role as an IP hub under the IP Strategy 2030.

You will identify opportunities, build partnerships with businesses, government agencies, law firms and trade associations in targeted international markets, and lead marketing efforts with cross-functional teams. Some travel will be required as you grow opportunities and measure impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, International Relations, or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or client engagement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel for regional engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in targeted international markets.
• Establish and grow strategic partnerships that create long-term value.
• Conduct market intelligence to inform strategic positioning and priorities.
• Support design and execution of marketing strategies for diverse audiences.
• Represent the IPOS Group at industry events and conferences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align business development with organisational goals.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on business development performance.
