Job summary

Crossover Search Pte. Ltd. Singapore is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee core finance operations and drive transformation initiatives. You will enhance efficiency, standardisation and digitalisation across finance processes in a leadership capacity.

You will lead a team, partner with stakeholders, and champion automation, controls and performance metrics to elevate governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Approximately 12–15 years of relevant finance experience, including leading finance operations and teams.
• Strong hands-on understanding across AP, AR, billing, GL and fixed assets.
• Experience in finance transformation, process improvement and ERP implementation.
• Understanding of financial controls, governance, audit and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee key finance operations including billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial processing, reconciliations and month-end activities.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies and SOPs to support governance and compliance.
• Oversee funding and grant-related finance processes where applicable.
• Support audits and ensure follow-up on audit and control matters.

About the Opportunity

Our client is an established organisation in Singapore with a sizeable and growing operational footprint. As part of its continued development, the organisation is looking to strengthen its Finance function and drive greater efficiency, standardisation and digitalisation across its finance operations.

This is a leadership role for an experienced finance professional who combines strong operational finance fundamentals with a track record in finance transformation. The successful candidate will oversee key finance operations while driving process improvements, automation and stronger controls across the function.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations & Governance

• Oversee key finance operations including billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial processing, reconciliations and month-end activities.
• Strengthen financial controls, policies and standard operating procedures to support good governance and compliance.
• Oversee relevant funding and grant-related finance processes where applicable.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure appropriate follow-up on audit and control matters.

Finance Transformation & Process Improvement

• Lead finance transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, scalability and controls across Finance.
• Drive the review and redesign of finance processes, identifying opportunities for standardisation, simplification and automation.
• Play a key role in ERP and finance system implementation or enhancement projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Champion the use of workflow automation, RPA and other digital tools to improve finance operations.
• Develop appropriate operational metrics and reporting to improve visibility and performance across the function.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, coach and develop finance managers and team members, building stronger capabilities within the function.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to address operational issues and support organisation-wide initiatives.
• Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams on finance transformation, governance and process improvement matters.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and collaboration within the Finance team.

The Profile We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced finance leader who is comfortable managing day-to-day finance operations while also taking a broader view of how processes, systems and controls can be improved.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A recognised degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, with relevant professional accounting qualifications being advantageous.
• Approximately 12–15 years of relevant finance experience, including meaningful experience leading finance operations and teams.
• Strong hands‑on understanding across multiple finance functions such as AP, AR, billing, GL and fixed assets.
• Demonstrated experience in finance transformation, process improvement and/or ERP implementation.
• Good understanding of financial controls, governance, audit and compliance requirements.
• Exposure to process automation, RPA, workflow tools or finance digitalisation initiatives would be advantageous.
• Experience managing and developing finance teams, including managers or experienced finance professionals.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels of seniority.
• Experience in complex, multi-site, regulated or service-oriented organisations would be advantageous.
• Exposure to grant administration or government-funded programmes would be useful but is not essential.
