Role Overview:

As an Assistant Director, you will oversee all aspects of film production, from script development to post-production. You will collaborate with producers, writers, cinematographers, and the production team to realize the film's vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong creative vision, leadership skills, and a passion for storytelling through film.

Responsibilities:
  1. Creative Collaboration: Work with the creative team to ensure the final product aligns with the film's vision. Be creative in conceptualization, ideation, and execution within timelines.
  2. Script Development: Collaborate on script refinement, providing input on story, characters, and dialogues.
  3. Research: Conduct research on visual shot strategies for brand AVs to support advertising strategies.
  4. Pre-production Planning: Coordinate with production designers and crew to plan shoots, create shot lists, storyboards, and schedules.
  5. Directing Actors: Guide actors to portray characters effectively and convey intended emotions.
  6. Cinematography: Collaborate with the director of photography on visual style, camera angles, lighting, and composition.
  7. On-set Management: Oversee production activities, direct crew, and manage schedule and budget.
  8. Post-production Supervision: Work with editors and sound designers, providing input on editing, sound, and visual effects.
  9. Problem Solving: Address challenges during filming or post-production, adapting as needed.
  10. Tech Savvy: Use AI tools for audience data interpretation, content performance, workflow improvements, and stay updated on emerging media technologies.
Requirements:
  • Proven filmmaking experience with a portfolio of projects.
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling skills.
  • Experience in screenwriting, art direction, and visual concepts.
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with film equipment and techniques.
  • Understanding of AI applications in media, familiarity with AI-driven tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in film, communication, or related field (preferred).
  • Passion for learning and good musical sense.
  • Basic knowledge of editing, animation, and music software.
