Job summary

EMA in Singapore seeks a seasoned leader to head the MRD branch within the Energy Connections Office, driving policy and regulatory design for electricity imports and regional power grids. You will guide cross-agency decisions and engage industry and financial partners to ensure timely delivery of large-scale energy imports, aligning with Singapore's energy transition goals.

Qualifications

8 years of relevant experience in policy development, industry engagement and/or the energy sector.
At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Willing to travel overseas for work.
Strong verbal communication and analytical skills.
Familiarity with techno-economic analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead the Market & Regulatory Design (MRD) branch in the Energy Connections Office.
Nurture and guide the MRD team to deliver strategic outcomes for Singapore and EMA.
Manage cross-agency policy and operational trade-offs for large-scale electricity imports.
Engage industry stakeholders and financial institutions to seek feedback for policies on electricity imports.
Ensure electricity imports projects are implemented on time.
