Job description

What the role is:

Supervise a team that undertakes in-depth research work to understand public sentiments related to the digital domain, which may cover issues such as online safety and regulation, digital adoption, accessibility, and inclusion.

What you will be working on:
  1. Engage and develop partnerships with relevant divisions and agencies to support strategic workstreams and achieve research objectives.
  2. Oversee the team’s work across the research process, from scope and design, to fieldwork, analysis, and report.
  3. Supervise the preparation of research reports to advise senior management on key policy, programme, and communication interventions, ensuring timely updates.
  4. Guide officers to curate relevant data to respond to data questions or requests from senior management or stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
  • At least 6-8 years of research experience and/or 2-3 years in the public sector.
  • Experience with managing and conducting research projects, with experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Ability to use data to make arguments and translate research findings into insights.
  • Interest in communications and public policy issues.
  • Working knowledge of SPSS for data analysis.
