Job description

We're looking for a highly skilled Assistant Digital & Performance Marketing Manager to join Volkswagen Group Singapore's group function. You'll be instrumental in shaping our comprehensive digital ecosystem across all brands, focusing on driving performance, innovation, and strategic growth through advanced digital and media strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize integrated always-on and ad-hoc awareness and lead generation campaigns (e.g., product launches, special events) across a diverse range of paid digital platforms, including Meta, Google, TikTok, and other emerging paid channels.

Performance Optimization & Experimentation: Design and execute rigorous A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to continuously enhance campaign performance, identify new growth opportunities, and improve key metrics. This includes testing new audiences, ad formats, creative variations, bidding strategies, and leveraging new platform features.

Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive performance reports, providing deep dives into campaign results, Return on Investment (ROI), and Cost Per Acquisition (CPA). Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for ongoing optimization.

Future Media & Trend Scouting: Proactively research and identify emerging digital media trends, new platforms, advertising technologies, and innovative content formats (e.g., short-form video, interactive experiences, AI-driven creative). Develop proposals for integrating these into future marketing strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

SEO & Organic Growth Strategy: Drive the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy for brand-owned digital channels, including the website and other online touchpoints. Implement technical SEO enhancements, keyword research, content optimization, and link-building initiatives to maximize organic visibility and traffic.

Content & Creative Guidance: Collaborate closely with brand marketing managers and media agencies to guide the development of high-performing creative assets. Provide data-driven recommendations for creative optimization based on performance insights and emerging media best practices.

Integrated Strategy & Stakeholder Management: Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders—including brand marketing, creative teams, and media agencies—to develop and present integrated campaign strategies, detailed performance results, and actionable insights to senior management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with sales, aftersales, IT, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery and execution of digital campaigns and initiatives, aligning marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

Budget Management & Allocation: Strategically plan and manage advertising budgets across various paid media channels, ensuring efficient allocation and maximizing ad spend effectiveness.

Digital Customer Journey Enhancement: Propose, lead, and implement beta initiatives focused on enhancing the end-to-end digital customer journey and expanding digital touchpoints across the entire marketing and sales funnel. This includes exploring new technologies for lead nurturing, personalization, and conversion rate optimization.
