Job Summary
Delivery of the Business Excellence & Sustainability Strategy for the STL Group to facilitate Business Excellence certifications, Continuous Improvement programmes, and business process re-engineering opportunities to support the Group's strategic direction.
Job Responsibilities
Business Process Re-engineering (BPR):
- Facilitate BPR or organisational/job redesign projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Business Units to identify and eliminate waste, streamline processes, and implement job enrichment and reconfiguration.
- Integrate BPR with emerging technologies such as AI to drive automation and data analytics capabilities.
- Conduct detailed process mapping to identify gaps, eliminate waste, and incorporate AI solutions.
- Develop a comprehensive, process-oriented library to document all processes and improvements across Verticals.
Continuous Improvement (CI):
- Promote CI mindsets through deploying Lean Six Sigma and Change Management within Business Units.
- Facilitate projects aimed at improving productivity, reducing costs, increasing capacity, and redesigning roles.
- Drive STL's operational excellence by deploying LEAN Six Sigma, Business Process Management, and Change Management.
Project Management:
Facilitate projects to identify opportunities for productivity improvements, cost reductions, capacity increases, and role redesigns.
Certification Exercises:
Support STL Group in annual certification exercises for various ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, ISO 28000, ISO 37001):
- Documentation: Maintain SOPs, manuals, and forms, ensuring their ongoing relevance.
- Audit Liaison: Act as liaison for audits, follow up on discrepancies, and track corrective actions.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance.
- Tabletop Exercises: Plan and facilitate incident scenario exercises.
- Audit Management: Manage audits and follow up on improvements.
- License Tracking: Monitor licenses and certificates to ensure compliance and security.
Other Tasks:
Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related field.
- Qualified ISO Internal Auditor (Essential); Lead Auditor (Preferred but not essential).
- LEANS Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics or lean manufacturing environment, with extensive BPR and operational excellence experience.
- Experience in Sustainability is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
