What You'll Do:

  • Lead and responsible of the sub-group level consolidation process of entities within Southeast Asia region.

  • Collaborate with overseas finance teams to ensure timely submission of monthly accounts.

  • Provide technical and accounting guidance to entities within the group to ensure compliance with IFRS.

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the consolidation process.

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities of a mid-size local subsidiary, including monthly closing of accounts, reviewing of income tax and GST submissions and deferred tax computations.

  • Capex Business Partnering with business users for accuracy and completeness of fixed asset accounting.

  • Assist in the forecasting and budgeting exercises.

  • Undertake group-wide or department projects on an ad-hoc basis.

What You’ll Need:

  • Good degree in Accountancy from reputable university

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience and prior managerial experience in Big 4 is a must

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive and hands-on team player and with an eye for details

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage different stakeholders

  • Proficient in SAP, BPC and Microsoft Applications (Excel and Power point)
