Assistant Credit Manager – $6.5k (ID: 666820)

Location: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a portfolio of retailers across the US and Europe.
• Perform credit research, financial analysis, and credit risk scoring on both existing and new customers, following the risk management framework.
• Create credit memorandums for approvals and provide recommendations on credit deviations or transaction exceptions.
• Regularly monitor the portfolio through financial reviews, attend customer briefings, and participate in calls.
• Identify and flag potential credit risks, adverse developments, and market trends that could impact the business.
• Collaborate independently with customers, credit insurers, and internal teams to support deal origination, transaction approvals, and provide credit-related advice.
• Prepare credit reports in compliance with internal and external standards and requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience, or comparable professional qualifications.
• Experience in independently conducting credit and financial analysis, along with forecasting, ideally with banks or a credit rating agency.
• Trade finance / supply chain knowledge / data analysis is a plus.
